Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Charles Sundling took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Miguel Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tage Eklund's late challenge caught a FK Crvena Zvezda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tage Eklund helped the player get up and apologised. FK Crvena Zvezda's Gottfrid Berggren was substituted for Miguel Domingues. After a rather tough play, Matteus ff's Tage Eklund got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes FK Crvena Zvezda got a freekick which was hit by Axel Runeberg. In the 13th minute, Matteus ff's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nils-Emil Bammerman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 17 minutes, Hugo Östensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matteus ff and the FK Crvena Zvezda players grew even worse after the yellow card. 16 minutes into the game, one of Matteus ff:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Charles Sundling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Matteus ff's zone, Charles Sundling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torgny Wiklund came out of the goal and Charles Sundling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charles Sundling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torgny Wiklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to FK Crvena Zvezda getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sten Joensson hit a great ball. Tage Eklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Iratxo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FK Crvena Zvezda's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Iratxo came free, but Kalle Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Charles Sundling sped through Matteus ff's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torgny Wiklund. Matteus ff's attentive Hugo Östensson managed to snatch the ball when Sten Joensson made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FK Crvena Zvezda's Gottfrid Berggren got a free kick in the 69th minute. Baltasar Iratxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Kalle Arvidsson made a huge save. Matteus ff's Torgny Wiklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Sundling in the 76th minute of play. When Tage Eklund came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Matteus ff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tage Eklund couldn't finish the play. Baltasar Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Charles Sundling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
