Henning Nordkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Lönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Björkman in the 9th minute of play forced Blomstermåla IFK's goalkeeper Henning Nordkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Finja's Tytus Rzentkowski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tytus Rzentkowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Finja protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tytus Rzentkowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Eskil Valström, was totally fooled by Blomstermåla IFK's Pelle Danielsson, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Blomstermåla IFK's Erling Stenman got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Finja's Axel Lönn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henning Nordkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Finja's Eskil Valström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Ahlqvist in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Morgan Björkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Nordkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blomstermåla IFK's Magnus Granberg collided with an opponent after 36 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his nose and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Pedersson during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Finja got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Pedersson. A hard shot by Greger Löfgren from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Eskil Valström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 40 minutes into the game, Greger Löfgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eskil Valström. Greger Löfgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. If Greger Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Törnkvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eskil Valström. Finja's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Blomstermåla IFK booed when Finja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Karlstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, Greger Löfgren notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Finja's Eskil Valström. Eskil Valström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eskil Valström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Olofsson in the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Finja's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Lång came free, but Eskil Valström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sven Ahlqvist fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blomstermåla IFK's protests and gave Sven Ahlqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Sven Ahlqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Axel Lönn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Henning Nordkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 76 played minutes Blomstermåla IFK got a freekick which was hit by Greger Löfgren. If Sven Ahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Finja's Eskil Valström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Lång in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Malcolm Lång hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Lönn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Nordkvist having to interfere. Axel Lönn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Henning Nordkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, Finja's Axel Lönn made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henning Nordkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, Blomstermåla IFK could leave the field as winners, despite Finja having more of the ball for most of the match.
