In the 37th minute, Anders Bergkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Anders Bergkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Röstånga's Sven-Arne Tunström got a free kick in the 45th minute. Sakarias Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Bergkvist in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
