Lukasz Hatman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Radzyminski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Seniorita Varga's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Seniorita Varga's Waldemar Radzyminski did a great save. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Lukasz Hatman sent off a good shot on target. Waldemar Radzyminski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 24th minute of the match. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 25th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Seniorita Varga's goalie and right to Egbert Nijveldt. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Seniorita Varga's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 27th play minutes Ziemowit Osikowicz shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Arnout Reekers and just under the crossbar into goal. Waldemar Radzyminski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Radzyminski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Lukasz Hatman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Radzyminski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Hieronim Kojder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Ziemowit Osikowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seniorita Varga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored to the left of an out of position Waldemar Radzyminski, making the score, 2-3. In the 85th minute Ziemowit Osikowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, one of Netherlands:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 92nd minute, Lars Meesters ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldemar Radzyminski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4.
