Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aleksander Blicharz started the match with the kick off. Sven-Edvin Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Kämpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hammarby IF's Hubert Lövgren got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Pelle Skålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jörlanda IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pelle Skålberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pelle Skålberg got free with Sven-Edvin Lindström in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Aleksander Blicharz made a precise shot to the right of Olov Gunnarsson. Jörlanda IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 25 played minutes Jörlanda IK got a freekick which was hit by Pelle Skålberg. Sven-Edvin Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Kämpe in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Michael Colin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jörlanda IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hammarby IF the free kick. Michael Colin hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Kalle Haeger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olov Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Blicharz in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jörlanda IK's zone, Robin Ivarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Robin Ivarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksander Blicharz in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olov Gunnarsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christer Lindgren during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Jörlanda IK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Christer Lindgren hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jörlanda IK made a substitution. Kåre Fredriksson replaced Christer Lindgren. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pelle Skålberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Sven-Edvin Lindström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Skålberg in the 59th minute of the match. Jörlanda IK's Gert Kämpe got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Robin Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörlanda IK's Olov Gunnarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Jörlanda IK from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Jörlanda IK's goalkeeper Olov Gunnarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Ivarsson. Kalle Haeger was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jörlanda IK! When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Hammarby IF's Alexander Lundhberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Olov Gunnarsson. After a defensive mix-up in Jörlanda IK's zone, Aleksander Blicharz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Aleksander Blicharz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jörlanda IK's Michael Colin got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Robin Ivarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olov Gunnarsson made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Robin Ivarsson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Robin Ivarsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gert Kämpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Lindström having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Börje Bivall during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Jörlanda IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Bivall to maneuver through the defense. Olov Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Joensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Aleksander Blicharz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hammarby IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
