The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Broddetorp BK reached it. A collision led to Broddetorp BK getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Staffan Tinglöv hit a great ball. Broddetorp BK's Jonathan Söderqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antônio de Toledo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Jonathan Söderqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Urban Hägg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Danilo Leal sped through Slottsbron IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Urban Hägg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Emander in the 26th minute of play forced Slottsbron IK's goalkeeper Urban Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Broddetorp BK's Eric Lundström got control of the ball when Mårten Broberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Broddetorp BK booed when Slottsbron IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jonathan Söderqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, one of Slottsbron IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Slottsbron IK.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Leal made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Slottsbron IK's zone, Jonathan Söderqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urban Hägg came out of the goal and Jonathan Söderqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Lindström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Broddetorp BK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Antônio de Toledo hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Slottsbron IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Emander came free, but Urban Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ingvar Emander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th match minute, Slottsbron IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Racchpal Kaaberbøl to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Danilo Leal notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Slottsbron IK's Urban Hägg. Urban Hägg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Folke Hägg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urban Hägg having to interfere. If Danilo Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Leals short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Urban Hägg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Danilo Leal had several of the Slottsbron IK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 95 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Urban Hägg as he didn't even see the shot coming.
