After 91 minutes, Thøger Fagerdal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Growers FC and the ÖstbergaC.F players grew even worse after the yellow card. ÖstbergaC.F's Evert Ahlqvist was substituted for Ralf Åström. After 93 played minutes Growers FC got a freekick which was hit by Thøger Fagerdal. 95 minutes into the match, Growers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Lindholm came free, but Leif Hjortsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ÖstbergaC.F's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
