An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiph Säfström in the 8th minute of play forced Båstad RK's goalkeeper Roger Kalfhage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Filiph Säfström made a precise shot to the right of Roger Kalfhage. Båstad RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Båstad RK's Roger Kalfhage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Ekerot in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Will Mostafa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filiph Säfström to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Båstad RK's goalkeeper Roger Kalfhage, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 65 minutes, Karl-Michael Ekerot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moose FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Michael Ekerot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Kalfhage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiph Säfström in the 66th minute of the match. Roger Kalfhage made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Michael Ekerot in the 71st minute. 79 minutes into the game, Johnny Nyström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Båstad RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moose FC the free kick. Roger Kalfhage went to the wrong direction when Lars-Erik Hjortsberg was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
