Greger Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Erserman in the 3rd minute of play. Bengt-Åke Anundsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Greger Andreasson made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Benicio Cucao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Magnus Snäll. Runmarö's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benicio Cucao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute, Per-Erik Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the game, Vilgot Samuelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Runmarö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blåränderna FF the free kick. In the 14th minute, Vilgot Samuelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Blåränderna FF's Bengt-Åke Hjortberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Magnus Snäll narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Allan Jonsson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Runmarö's Frank Lindholm got a free kick in the 25th minute. Gert Tunander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Magnus Snäll. Runmarö's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Blåränderna FF's Bengt-Åke Hjortberg in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Runmarö's goalie prevented a goal. 43 minutes into the match, Benicio Cucao notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Runmarö's Karl-Magnus Snäll. Karl-Magnus Snäll was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt-Åke Hjortberg made a kick off. Greger Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Erserman in the 51st minute of play. Greger Andreasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casper Aleberg's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Benicio Cucao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 minutes of play Runmarö's Vilgot Samuelsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 68 played minutes Runmarö got a freekick which was hit by Vilgot Samuelsson. Casper Aleberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blåränderna FF made a substitution. Leif Mossberg replaced Bengt-Åke Hjortberg. If Leif Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Cucao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Magnus Snäll having to make a save. In the 84th minute, Runmarö's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leif Mossberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leif Mossberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Aleberg's late challenge caught a Blåränderna FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casper Aleberg helped the player get up and apologised. Casper Aleberg hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Benicio Cucao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Blåränderna FF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
