After 9 played minutes Blåränderna FF got a freekick which was hit by Per-Erik Ek. After a defensive mix-up in Blåränderna FF's zone, Kenny Alebeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greger Andreasson came out of the goal and Kenny Alebeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Backman in the 13th minute of play forced Blåränderna FF's goalkeeper Greger Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Blåränderna FF getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Per-Erik Ek hit a great ball. Blåränderna FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Kenny Alebeck scored to the left of an out of position Greger Andreasson, making the score, 1-0. If Tage Åhman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Urshult getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Vilhelm Bergqvist hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Alebeck in the 39th minute of play forced Blåränderna FF's goalkeeper Greger Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greger Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Alebeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 56th minute Kenny Alebeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tage Åhman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Greger Andreasson was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Leif Mossberg replaced Bengt-Åke Hjortberg. When Sakarias Persson came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Urshult fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sakarias Persson couldn't finish the play. Harry Ekeroth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenny Alebeck in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Greger Andreasson saved Blåränderna FF from getting behind. Urshult's Sakarias Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
