In the 9th match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Ove Hammarström to maneuver through the defense. Jakob Bennet kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Thomas Sefastsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIK FOTBOLL's Adrian Ivarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 minutes AIK FOTBOLL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was August Asmundsson who took care of the corner kick. Marieholm's August Asmundsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adrian Ivarsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kennet Månsson got free with Edwin Arvidsson in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Sefastsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calle Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jakob Bennet made a kick off. Marieholm's Viggo Botvidsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jim Fransson in the 54 minute of the game. Luiz Fernando Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Adrian Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Sefastsson in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Calle Jönsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Adrian Ivarsson however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when Marieholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Käcker didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennet Månsson in the 89th minute of play forced Marieholm's goalkeeper Edwin Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kennet Månsson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Karl-Åke Godholm fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
