If Tobias Tunander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, András Veress managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vålådalen's supporters rose to their feet, but András Veress was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helge Fossmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd match minute, Vålådalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milen Michev to maneuver through the defense. Helge Fossmo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronni Houlind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fabian Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arne Frisck was the one to do the kick off. Helge Fossmo made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when András Veress sent off a good shot on target. Arne Frisck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Tunander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. András Veress scored 0-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Helge Fossmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by András Veress got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vålådalen's goalkeeper Fabian Jönsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bengt-Rune Zander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Red Pirates BK booed when Vålådalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Kilström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Leonardo Axelsson in the 81st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Fabian Jönsson's left hand side. Fabian Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Zander in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Vålådalen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Red Pirates BK.
