In the 6th minute Paul Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Ove Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Röstånga FF's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Helström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roy Nordkvist. Petro Bashlay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Sven-Ove Helström made a huge save. A collision led to Röstånga FF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Leif Åberg hit a great ball. Roy Nordkvist struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Sven-Ove Helström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fornåsa BK. 14 minutes into the match, Röstånga FF's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Helström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petro Bashlay. The supporters of Fornåsa BK booed when Röstånga FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Ove Helström made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Petro Bashlay sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Ove Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Hybbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petro Bashlay got free with Sven-Ove Helström in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Fornåsa BK booed when Röstånga FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Brummer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Kilberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven-Ove Helström. After 38 played minutes Roy Nordkvist rounded Röstånga FF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Hybbert in the 41st minute of play forced Röstånga FF's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Ove Helström made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Petro Bashlay sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Ove Helström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Hybbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard and well directed shot from Vilhelm Askestät led 46 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Fornåsa BK's Folke Engström became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Sven-Ove Helström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roy Nordkvist went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 60th minute, Petro Bashlay made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Ove Helström. Röstånga FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kim Martinsson during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fornåsa BK booed when Röstånga FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Paul Hybbert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Ove Helström was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 68th minute Petro Bashlay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Ove Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Röstånga FF's zone, Paul Hybbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Ove Helström came out of the goal and Paul Hybbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Röstånga FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Sven-Ove Helström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petro Bashlay in the 75th minute of the match. Röstånga FF's Sven-Ove Helström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petro Bashlay in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Filiph Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Röstånga FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiph Ekström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 84 played minutes Röstånga FF got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Melo. In the 85th minute of the match Olov Kilberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Ove Helström skillfully saved the ball. When Roy Nordkvist came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Fornåsa BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Nordkvist couldn't finish the play. Sven-Ove Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petro Bashlay, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Roy Nordkvist took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Ove Helström. Sven-Ove Helström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Fornåsa BK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
