The supporters of Kävlinge booed when Skagersvik IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Jönsätt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svante Ekeberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but John Wallin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Isaac Vikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Algot Fristedt made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Håkan Billberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Kävlinge's Isaac Vikström got control of the ball when Dawid Parzysz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Svante Ekeberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Algot Fristedt came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Kävlinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Algot Fristedt couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute Svante Ekeberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algot Fristedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dawid Parzysz got free with Isaac Vikström in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
