With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Vikström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Isaksson in the 23rd minute of play forced Kävlinge's goalkeeper Isaac Vikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Kävlinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Wallin to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Vikström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Vikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars-Erik Isaksson to make the kick off. Ted Brenner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Vikström having to interfere. Isaac Vikström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars-Erik Isaksson's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the last second Tony Montana throw himself and got hold of the ball when Algot Fristedt in the 65thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 66 minutes into the game, Armin Cipollini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Insuperabilis C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kävlinge the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Insuperabilis C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Cipollini to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lars-Erik Isaksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Vikström was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The supporters of Kävlinge booed when Insuperabilis C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Cipollini didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Insuperabilis C.F. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
