Spectators: 7251 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Algot Fristedt took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Skagersvik IK's Ragnar Jönsätt got a free kick in the 7th minute. Skagersvik IK's John Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Wallin in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Skagersvik IK's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Wallin came free, but John Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Vikström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Greger Tinglöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Skagersvik IK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Eric Biörkman hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Skagersvik IK's zone, Svante Ekeberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Wallin came out of the goal and Svante Ekeberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaac Vikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Cavaliere in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Svante Ekeberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Wallin was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Skagersvik IK's Domenico Cavaliere pulled a muscle in his back after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When George Tingelholm fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kävlinge's protests and gave George Tingelholm a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kävlinge! Eric Biörkman shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 43rd minute Algot Fristedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Ragnar Jönsätt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algot Fristedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Browall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Skagersvik IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Westerberg to maneuver through the defense. Skagersvik IK's John Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algot Fristedt in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algot Fristedt in the 65th minute of play forced Skagersvik IK's goalkeeper John Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Wallin in the 67th minute of play. Algot Fristedt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. John Wallin came out and tried to block the shot, but Algot Fristedt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Sverker Berglund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Vikström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Svante Ekeberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of John Wallin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Svante Ekeberg struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. John Wallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kävlinge. After a rather tough play, Skagersvik IK's Eric Biörkman got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 86 played minutes Skagersvik IK got a freekick which was hit by Adam Melander. John Wallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Algot Fristedt's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. John Wallin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Algot Fristedt in the 90th minute. A collision led to Skagersvik IK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sverker Berglund hit a great ball. Many of Kävlinge's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Kävlinge may have spent more time on the ball, but Skagersvik IK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
