In the 16th minute, Valentin Sjöman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Svenstavik getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dan Stenström hit a great ball. In the 21st match minute, Svenstavik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Stenström to maneuver through the defense. Alf Jansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Hellström's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Sjöman in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alf Jansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Sjöman in the 25th minute of play forced Svenstavik's goalkeeper Alf Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Valentin Sjöman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svenstavik's Alf Jansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Svenstavik from getting a goal against them. Alf Jansson had great luck who in the 31stth minute grab hold of the ball when Valentin Sjöman from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Patrick Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bankeryd IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Hellström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alf Jansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Svenstavik's Alf Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Sjöman in the 41st minute of play. Valentin Sjöman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Valentin Sjöman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alf Jansson was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Svenstavik's Alf Jansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Svenstavik from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 71st minute, Ivar Finnman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Svenstavik's zone, Patrick Hellström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Jansson came out of the goal and Patrick Hellström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Sjöman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alf Jansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play, Bankeryd IF's Valentin Sjöman made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alf Jansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valentin Sjöman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Svenstavik:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bankeryd IF:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Sjöman in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alf Jansson saved Svenstavik from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bankeryd IF had played much better football throughout.
