But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Öberg couldn't finish the play. The wind increased when Pepijn Schoonderwoerd made the kick off in the second half. Kennet Strand might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gösta Bergqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kennet Strand ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Pepijn Schoonderwoerd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gösta Bergqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarby IF's zone, Andrei Nastase stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 81st minute Pepijn Schoonderwoerd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
