Sven-Ove Utter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Dalström, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Helge Zander hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Szeretlek FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Marcus Dalström scored to the left of an out of position Sven-Ove Utter, making the score, 1-1. Sven-Ove Utter was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcus Dalström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. Szeretlek FC's Sven-Ove Utter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Szeretlek FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Szeretlek FC defense, Torbjörn Persson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Ove Utter. The Szeretlek FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Ove Utter should have stopped the shot. Szeretlek FC's Helge Zander got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Helge Zander off the ground. After 46 played minutes Szeretlek FC got a freekick which was hit by Helge Zander. Bengt-Arne Apelkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Sven Asserlind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Bengt-Arne Apelkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Sven Asserlind made a huge save. Szeretlek FC's Sven-Ove Utter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Persson in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Bengt-Arne Apelkvist made a precise shot to the right of Sven Asserlind. Askersund RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. If Fredrik Hamnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Szeretlek FC's Bengt-Arne Apelkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bengt-Arne Apelkvists short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Sven Asserlind to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 84 minutes in the game, Fredrik Hamnberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sven Asserlind having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Apelkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orvar Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Fredrik Hamnberg had to leave the field with a concussion. Szeretlek FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
