Goderdzi Bitsadze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ramiro Moreno was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 32nd minute, Ramiro Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Holm in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Forssberg saved Mjälby AIF from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Mjälby AIF's goalkeeper Henry Forssberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Lundström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Holm in the 39th minute of play forced Mjälby AIF's goalkeeper Henry Forssberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nano Yonkov hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Arvid Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe Academy's Anton Holmgren got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Henry Forssberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Holm in the 45th minute of play. Henry Forssberg made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Kevin Lundström sent off a good shot on target. Henry Forssberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Erik Wennersten in the 47th minute.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmy Samuelsson got free with Goderdzi Bitsadze in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 played minutes Mjälby AIF got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Samuelsson. Mjälby AIF's Simon Sjöberg was substituted for Jörgen Glad. Jimmy Samuelsson hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Nils-Erik Wennersten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenerbahçe Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 72 minutes into the match, Mjälby AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Erik Wennersten came free, but Henry Forssberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Kevin Lundström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henry Forssberg. Mjälby AIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Lundström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Mjälby AIF made a substitution. Jakob Bröms replaced Magnus Hjortsberg. 81 minutes into the match, Nils-Erik Wennersten notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Mjälby AIF's Henry Forssberg. Henry Forssberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fenerbahçe Academy had won after a very even match.
