The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Arne Hybbert got free with Tony Rudkvist in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torbjörn Bergfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Rudkvist having to interfere. The supporters of Vedum IFK booed when Påskallavik RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Ennegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Vedum IFK's Torbjörn Bergfeldt in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Josefsson during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stig-Arne Hybbert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Tony Rudkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Michael Jönsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Björn Ahlroht was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michael Jönsson to strike the kick off in the second half. If Michael Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Rudkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Arne Hybbert in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Samuel Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Påskallavik RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Jönsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Vedum IFK's Torbjörn Bergfeldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Rudkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Påskallavik RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Rudkvist should have stopped the shot. Tony Rudkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Bergfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Tony Rudkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Bergfeldt in the 85th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vedum IFK had won after a very even match.
