Per Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Månsson having to interfere. Christian Grönberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Edward Månsson made a huge save. Edward Månsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Billdal's Christian Grönberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Månsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Billdal's Isaac Asplund was substituted for Bengt-Rune Anselius. Billdal's Jesper Matsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Wester in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Per Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Billdal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Ekström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edward Månsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Ekström in the 37th minute of play. In the 45th minute Arvin Gallberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Månsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isaac Asplund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Roy Mattsson fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Edward Månsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fared Bahroh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edward Månsson. The Red Rose's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, The Red Rose's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Asplund came free, but Edward Månsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Per Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
