Spectators: 6646 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1646, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aleks Kardyb started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Malmbäck IK got a freekick which was hit by Reine Löfdahl. 9 minutes into the game, Jan-Olof Björklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malmbäck IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ringsbacka HC the free kick. Jan-Olof Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Timmy Helström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Aleks Kardyb kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gelu Cutean. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Malmbäck IK's Gelu Cutean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcell Kenesei in the 24th minute of play. Timmy Helström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Thor Elg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gelu Cutean made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Aleks Kardyb sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Jan-Olof Björklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malmbäck IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Olof Björklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thor Elg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aleks Kardyb hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timmy Helström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jan-Olof Björklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 minutes of play, Ringsbacka HC's Aleks Kardyb made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gelu Cutean was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gelu Cutean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcell Kenesei in the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Ringsbacka HC's Thor Elg got control of the ball when Timmy Helström tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleks Kardyb in the 64th minute of play forced Malmbäck IK's goalkeeper Gelu Cutean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timmy Helström missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 71 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Thor Elg right hand side. Gelu Cutean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aleks Kardyb went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the match, Aleks Kardyb notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Malmbäck IK's Gelu Cutean. Gelu Cutean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timmy Helström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thor Elg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Bengt Billing threw the ball into play from the sideline. Malmbäck IK's Karl-Johan Lagerberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 87 minutes into the match, Malmbäck IK's goal looked a bit too open when Aleks Kardyb came free, but Gelu Cutean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timmy Helström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Elg having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ringsbacka HC could leave the field as winners, despite Malmbäck IK having more of the ball for most of the match.
