In the 13th minute Joakim Sjödin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Hylander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Sjödin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Hylander having to interfere. The supporters of Älvängens IK booed when FC Banditos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Erik Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball.
