Namık Kemal İspirli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ragnar Ekerot made a huge save. Ragnar Björklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Namık Kemal İspirli took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ragnar Ekerot to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Humlabjers FF booed when Tumba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Hellström didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Humlabjers FF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Martin Mester hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Namık Kemal İspirli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute Martin Mester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Ekerot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Ragnar Björklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Humlabjers FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ragnar Björklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Namık Kemal İspirli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Ekerot having to interfere. The Humlabjers FF fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Humlabjers FF's Ragnar Björklund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 61 minutes into the match, Humlabjers FF's goalkeeper Uno Igelström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Lindberg. Humlabjers FF were furious when Kjell-Arne Siggesson was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Namık Kemal İspirli scored 4-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ragnar Ekerot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd match minute, Humlabjers FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Mester to maneuver through the defense. Ragnar Ekerot came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Humlabjers FF's Namık Kemal İspirli. But to his dismay, Namık Kemal İspirli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After having played for 86 minutes, Martin Mester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
