Spectators: 7209 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Ribban FF's Arman Tidén started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Tidéksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herman Sundström. Hea Angels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Ove Tidéksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Folke Lindberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ribban FF's Jörgen Lindblom. Jörgen Lindblom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the game, Esbjörn Willig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ribban FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hea Angels the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ribban FF's Esbjörn Willig got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute Jens-Ola Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Lindblom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ribban FF's Jörgen Lindblom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Lindberg in the 23rd minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Ribban FF's Arman Tidén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herman Sundström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jörgen Lindblom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Lindberg in the 39th minute of the match. Jörgen Lindblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ola Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After some careless play in the Ribban FF defense, Jens-Ola Magnusson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jörgen Lindblom. The Ribban FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jörgen Lindblom should have stopped the shot. Folke Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Lindblom having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folke Lindberg was the one to do the kick off. Jörgen Lindblom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Lindberg in the 52nd minute of play. Arman Tidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Herman Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustav Rosendahl hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Jörgen Lindblom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Lindberg in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Ribban FF's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Låsberg came free, but Jörgen Lindblom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Folke Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Lindblom having to interfere. A collision led to Ribban FF getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Torgny Backman hit a great ball. Jörgen Lindblom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Lindberg in the 75th minute of play. Jens-Ola Magnusson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörgen Lindblom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Herman Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Tidéksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenneth Låsberg during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Hea Angels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Låsberg to maneuver through the defense. Herman Sundström came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Ribban FF's Jens-Ove Tidéksson. But to his dismay, Jens-Ove Tidéksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Jens-Ove Tidéksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Hea Angels left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ribban FF.
