Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ragnar Kiempe came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hovmantorp's Joar Vibjörnsson. But to his dismay, Joar Vibjörnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Hovmantorp's goalkeeper Joakim Ekenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Holmberg. 9 minutes into the game, Henrik Hjelm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joakim Ekenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ragnar Kiempe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joar Vibjörnsson in the 13th minute of play. When Michael Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Nordic Legion FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Holmberg couldn't finish the play. Henrik Hjelm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Joakim Ekenberg made a huge save. Henrik Hjelm's late challenge caught a Hovmantorp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrik Hjelm helped the player get up and apologised. Nordic Legion FC's Ragnar Kiempe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joar Vibjörnsson in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredric Kalfhage during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hovmantorp getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fredric Kalfhage hit a great ball. Nordic Legion FC's Henrik Hjelm got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Michael Holmberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Nordic Legion FC's Michael Holmberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joakim Ekenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tobias Bergendahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joakim Ekenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Ragnar Kiempe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Kalfhage in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Hovmantorp's Jan-Åke Björnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ragnar Kiempe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 48 minutes into the match, Nordic Legion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Åke Björnsson came free, but Ragnar Kiempe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Michael Holmberg made the kick off in the second half. Michael Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Joakim Ekenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Wallander kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Nordic Legion FC's goalkeeper Ragnar Kiempe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolf Torstensson. After 64 minutes, Joar Vibjörnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hovmantorp and the Nordic Legion FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joar Vibjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Hovmantorp's Bengt Wallander seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bengt Wallander the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hovmantorp protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bengt Wallander had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 73rd minute, Tobias Bergendahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joakim Ekenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Michael Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Joakim Ekenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hovmantorp had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
