Spectators: 6515 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 15) Gränna FK's Ersin Özkutlu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard and well directed shot from Per Sandwall led 5 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Alby's John Öberg became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. After 13 played minutes, Alby's Ingvar Gregersson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Agne Wennerquist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alby reached it. The supporters of Alby booed when Gränna FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Dalström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ersin Özkutlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Öberg was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Ersin Özkutlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. John Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Öberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Johan Dalström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gränna FK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Thomas Vestlund hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Gränna FK's Ersin Özkutlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Öberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 34th minute, Thomas Vestlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Jack Söderqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agne Wennerquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Arotza to make the kick off. Gränna FK's Ersin Özkutlu got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gränna FK's Conny Wallin got a free kick in the 64th minute. Agne Wennerquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Söderqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A collision led to Alby getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gottfrid Blomqvist hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Alby's Jack Söderqvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Agne Wennerquist. Agne Wennerquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Dalström in the 80th minute of play forced Alby's goalkeeper John Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Karl-Johan Dalström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John Öberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ersin Özkutlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. John Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Leopoldo Arotza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agne Wennerquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Jack Söderqvist took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agne Wennerquist. Agne Wennerquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. John Öberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersin Özkutlu in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Eddie Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alby succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Gränna FK had controlled the match.
