After a defensive mix-up in Brålanda's zone, Valter Enström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Nordlund came out of the goal and Valter Enström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Markus Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bålsta BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Nyberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Nordlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, Brålanda's Johan Forsman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mattias Grep made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Valter Enström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mikael Nordlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Grep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Skog in the 24th minute of play. If Ian Kullander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes of play, Bålsta BF's Valter Enström made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikael Nordlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils-Åke Strand in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikael Nordlund saved Brålanda from getting behind. John Collin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Bålsta BF's goal looked a bit too open when John Collin came free, but Mattias Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Jonas Skog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Grep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Skog scored 1-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mattias Grep, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Skog stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mikael Nordlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Åke Strand, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Mattias Grep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Tholsson in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Bålsta BF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Valter Enström hit a great ball. Mattias Grep made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when John Collin sent off a good shot on target. Nils-Åke Strand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bålsta BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Markus Nyberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikael Nordlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils-Åke Strand's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Jerry Ödman got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jerry Ödman kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Valter Enström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Nordlund having to interfere. Brålanda's Mikael Nordlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Enström in the 90th minute of play. The Brålanda supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brålanda would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
