Vilgot Boman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Abrahamsson in the 6th minute of the match. Torsten Kihlman kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Urban Eliasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yxlan IFK's Ludwig Myr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Abrahamsson in the 13th minute of play forced Marsfjäll BF's goalkeeper Vilgot Boman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yxlan IFK's Ludwig Myr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Eliasson in the 15th minute of play. Ludwig Myr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Ljungberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Olof Palm fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yxlan IFK's protests and gave Olof Palm a yellow card for diving instead. Olof Palm hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Marsfjäll BF's Gösta Ljungberg in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yxlan IFK's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Marsfjäll BF booed when Yxlan IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Palm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Marsfjäll BF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Marsfjäll BF's Svante Erserman got a free kick in the 34th minute. Vilgot Boman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Kelemen's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Viktor Kelemen might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilgot Boman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viktor Kelemen ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig Bergqvist during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Marsfjäll BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. Fredrik Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Viktor Kelemen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Marsfjäll BF's Vilgot Boman. Vilgot Boman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The supporters of Yxlan IFK booed when Marsfjäll BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Ljungberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Fredrik Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yxlan IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilgot Boman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 54 minutes, Viktor Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yxlan IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Kelemen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Urban Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Marsfjäll BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urban Eliasson couldn't finish the play. Edmund Fågel's late challenge caught a Marsfjäll BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmund Fågel helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yxlan IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! 65 minutes into the match, Svante Erserman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Yxlan IFK's Ludwig Myr. Ludwig Myr was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yxlan IFK's Ludwig Myr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Eliasson in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Urban Eliasson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ludwig Myr. Yxlan IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urban Eliasson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 79th match minute, Marsfjäll BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. Fredrik Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Yxlan IFK's Vilgot Boman threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fredrik Abrahamsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Viktor Kelemen came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Yxlan IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktor Kelemen couldn't finish the play. Leon Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fredrik Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yxlan IFK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
