In the 16th minute, Cosmin Armeanca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Biörk made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Cosmin Armeanca sent off a good shot on target. Edward Cane's late challenge caught a Borensberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Cane helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Borensberg booed when Ammarnäs FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Cane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ammarnäs FK's Stefan Biörk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ammarnäs FK from getting a goal against them. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 40 minutes into the game, one of Ammarnäs FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Borensberg a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andreas Erserman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ammarnäs FK's Stefan Biörk. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Åke Hedman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ammarnäs FK's Casper Johnsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ward Schaefer. That made the score 2-1 after 52 minutes of play. After 68 played minutes Ammarnäs FK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Engström. Jan-Åke Hedman hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Cosmin Armeanca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borensberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
