The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan-Åke Hedman took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilhelm Andberg. Vilhelm Andberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 6th match minute, Ammarnäs FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Cane to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Edvin Elg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edvin Elg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Vallby Hood booed when Ammarnäs FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Engström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Olsmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Stefan Biörk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viggo Ekberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Hedman in the 17th minute of play forced Vallby Hood's goalkeeper Vilhelm Andberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vallby Hood booed when Ammarnäs FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Cane didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Sune Stenberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ammarnäs FK's Stefan Biörk didn't even have to move. Jan-Åke Hedman struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Vilhelm Andberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ammarnäs FK. Edvin Elg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Stefan Biörk made a huge save. Stefan Biörk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Ivarsson in the 30th minute of play. Vallby Hood's Jonas Olsmann got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ammarnäs FK's Stefan Biörk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ammarnäs FK from getting a goal against them. If Jan-Åke Hedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes of play, Ammarnäs FK's Casper Johnsson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilhelm Andberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Vallby Hood's zone, Jan-Åke Hedman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilhelm Andberg came out of the goal and Jan-Åke Hedman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th match minute, Ammarnäs FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Wenerdahl to maneuver through the defense. Sune Stenberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stefan Biörk. Ammarnäs FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stefan Biörk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Ivarsson in the 47th minute of the match. The Vallby Hood players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ammarnäs FK were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Åke Hedman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Henry Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Biörk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes, Gert Vedholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ammarnäs FK and the Vallby Hood players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gert Vedholm kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jan-Åke Hedman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Vallby Hood's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Ödman came free, but Vilhelm Andberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Ammarnäs FK's Casper Johnsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. A collision led to Ammarnäs FK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Edward Cane hit a great ball. Henry Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jan-Åke Hedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ammarnäs FK's Edward Cane got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes, Vallby Hood's Sune Stenberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefan Biörk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vallby Hood reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Sävström during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Casper Johnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilhelm Andberg was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Ammarnäs FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
