Spectators: 7162 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kent Dahlbom started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Hammarby IF's Kent Heggert got control of the ball when Alexander Kock tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, BVB Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Stellan Lindgren came free, but Alexander Sellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ludo De Hoef came free, but Kent Heggert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Alexander Kock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hammarby IF's Kent Dahlbom got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match Rolf Månsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexander Sellberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 28 played minutes Hammarby IF got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Hedvall. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarby IF's zone, Ludo De Hoef stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Heggert came out of the goal and Ludo De Hoef tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Alexander Kock made a precise shot to the right of Kent Heggert. Hammarby IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, Alexander Kock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kent Heggert. Hammarby IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Kock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 39th minute, Ludo De Hoef ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kent Heggert was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ludo De Hoef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Heggert having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Hammarby IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ludo De Hoef fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Alexander Kock sped through Hammarby IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kent Heggert. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ludo De Hoef made the kick off in the second half. Stellan Lindgren charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stellan Lindgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Stellan Lindgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Maximilian Käller came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the BVB Dortmund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximilian Käller couldn't finish the play. Hammarby IF's Kent Heggert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludo De Hoef in the 63rd minute of play. Alexander Kock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Heggert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Hugo Berdoi's late challenge caught a Hammarby IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Berdoi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hammarby IF booed when BVB Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Berdoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Sellberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fred Mattsson. Kent Heggert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludo De Hoef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Alexander Kock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Kent Heggert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. BVB Dortmund's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
