Maximilian Alström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Ludvig Eklund made a precise shot to the right of Maximilian Alström. Långbäcken's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Hans Nordal kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Claes Fågel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Långbäcken defense, Ludvig Eklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximilian Alström. The Långbäcken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximilian Alström should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Långbäcken's Allan Westerberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Jaraczewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Claes Fågel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Alström having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans Nordal to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ludvig Eklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximilian Alström was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 55 played minutes Långbäcken got a freekick which was hit by Leif Nordlander. In the 57th minute, Ryd RK's Ludvig Eklund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maximilian Alström. Maximilian Alström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Ryd RK's Ludvig Eklund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximilian Alström. That made the score 1-6 after 60 minutes of play. Maximilian Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wictor Ahlbom in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens Vallmark during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wictor Ahlbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludvig Eklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Maximilian Alström made a huge save. In the 80th minute Wictor Ahlbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilian Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Jaraczewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Westerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 82 minutes into the game, Kjell-Arne Lekberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ryd RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Långbäcken the free kick. In the 84th minute of the match Rasmus Salqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edward Jaraczewski skillfully saved the ball. In the 90th minute, Ryd RK's Eddie Nyman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eddie Nyman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ryd RK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eddie Nyman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 89 minutes into the game, one of Ryd RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Långbäcken. Einar Alebäck stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edward Jaraczewski. 2-7. Långbäcken's Maximilian Alström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Långbäcken from getting a goal against them. Ryd RK played a much better game than Långbäcken and deserved their victory. The Långbäcken players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
