Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl Hagberg started the match with the kick off. If Christer Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Silja FC's Karl Hagberg in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åsarp's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Silja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Åkerman came free, but Ian Clementsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Hamberg got free with Herman Wester in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl-Åke Spets charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Åke Spets the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karl Hagberg struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Herman Wester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silja FC. Ian Clementsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Sjöö in the 18th minute of play. If Christer Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Christer Hamberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herman Wester. Christer Hamberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Karl Hagberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Herman Wester managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Silja FC's Christer Hamberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Karl Hagberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herman Wester was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. If Karl-Åke Spets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Åsarp's goal looked a bit too open when André Trulsson came free, but Herman Wester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Karl Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Wester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herman Wester was a little too slow when Karl Hagberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Åsarp getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Frank Lundqvist hit a great ball. After 57 minutes Åsarp's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl Hagberg who took care of the corner kick. Christer Hamberg took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herman Wester. Herman Wester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 69th match minute, Åsarp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Törnkvist to maneuver through the defense. With 73 minutes on the clock, Patrick Abrahamsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 72nd minute, one of Silja FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Silja FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertil Sjöö got free with Ian Clementsson in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christer Hamberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Herman Wester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Wester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Trulsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herman Wester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Hamberg in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Helge Åkerman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ian Clementsson, 6-2. André Trulsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Hamberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Åsarp's goalkeeper Herman Wester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Åsarp's Helge Åkerman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, André Trulsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Silja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Trulsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herman Wester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herman Wester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Åke Spets went, in the 100th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-3 was the resulting score.
