Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) White Saints's Marcus Lindqvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daryl Lambley hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Stig Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Kuse having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Brian Strömqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. White Saints's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Strömqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Kuse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. IF Kickers's Lennart Kuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Jonasson in the 7th minute of play. Lennart Kuse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Lindqvist in the 9th minute of the match. Lennart Kuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Hedström in the 11th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Stig Jonasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IF Kickers's Lennart Kuse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lennart Kuse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albino Eufrasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Daryl Lambley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. White Saints's Bengt-Rune Hedström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leif Fågel in the 28 minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, IF Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Jonasson came free, but Lennart Kuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IF Kickers's Albino Eufrasio got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in White Saints's zone, Hans Hammer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Backman came out of the goal and Hans Hammer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, IF Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Lindqvist came free, but Lennart Kuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the IF Kickers defense, Marcus Lindqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennart Kuse. The IF Kickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennart Kuse should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albino Eufrasio to strike the kick off in the second half. Albino Eufrasio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, White Saints's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Hammer came free, but Thomas Backman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Albino Eufrasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. IF Kickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Eufrasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Backman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Hans Hammer came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the IF Kickers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Hammer couldn't finish the play. Marcus Lindqvist was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 74 minutes into the match, IF Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Lindqvist came free, but Lennart Kuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. White Saints's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ingvar Holmgren in the 75th minute. The corner ended in Ingvar Holmgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but IF Kickers's Lennart Kuse did a great save. 78 minutes into the match, Albino Eufrasio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of White Saints's Thomas Backman. Thomas Backman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albino Eufrasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Backman having to interfere. Hans Hammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Thomas Backman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Albino Eufrasio made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Backman. White Saints's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 90th minute Albino Eufrasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
