Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Patrik Åhman took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes of play, Liverpool FC's Ulf Erserman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Börje Christoffersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 6th minute Melker Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Christoffersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Christoffersson came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool FC's Florin Torres. But to his dismay, Florin Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melker Arvidsson in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börje Christoffersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florin Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Börje Christoffersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Melker Arvidsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hova's Börje Christoffersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Hova's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Arvidsson came free, but Börje Christoffersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dayan Nissan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Åhman in the 21st minute. Börje Christoffersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melker Arvidsson went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Melker Arvidsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Börje Christoffersson was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melker Arvidsson in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Börje Christoffersson saved Hova from getting behind. After 35 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Knut Andersson. Melker Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Börje Christoffersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hova's Börje Christoffersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szilárd Mónos in the 39th minute of play. Börje Christoffersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melker Arvidsson in the 40th minute of play. When Melker Arvidsson came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Liverpool FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melker Arvidsson couldn't finish the play. Liverpool FC made a substitution. Sixten Clementsson replaced Radoslaw Grajewski. After the first half Liverpool FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melker Arvidsson made a kick off. Börje Christoffersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 57 played minutes Hova got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Åhman. After 61 minutes, Melker Arvidsson made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Hova's Börje Christoffersson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Melker Arvidsson struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Börje Christoffersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool FC. Liverpool FC's Petter Bjursell was substituted for Szilárd Mónos. When Ulf Erserman came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Liverpool FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Erserman couldn't finish the play. Ulf Erserman kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Hova's Björn Pettersson got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Börje Christoffersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petter Bjursell in the 78th minute. Börje Christoffersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Clementsson in the 80th minute of play. Melker Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Hova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Åhman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Liverpool FC's Ulf Erserman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Börje Christoffersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 93rd minute, Florin Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrik Åhman hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Melker Arvidsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dayan Nissan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Åhman, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Hova fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Liverpool FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
