Magnus Jernberg lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Ronneby BK. Kurt Johnsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicklas Henriksson. 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Lindesberg IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Wiberg came free, but Nicklas Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicklas Henriksson came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ronneby BK's Kurt Johnsson. But to his dismay, Kurt Johnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Nicklas Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Wiberg in the 21st minute of play. Ulrik Vennerlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Georg Pilgren made a huge save. Nicklas Henriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Johnsson in the 26th minute of the match. Nicklas Henriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timmy Wiberg went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulrik Vennerlund got free with Georg Pilgren in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicklas Henriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Johnsson in the 43rd minute of the match. Jan-Olof Tinglöf scored 1-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georg Pilgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Johnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Kurt Johnsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicklas Henriksson. That made the score 1-5 in the 52 minute of play. Tommy Nordkvist hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Lindesberg IFK's Nicklas Henriksson couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Kurt Johnsson shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 56th minute, 1-6. Timmy Wiberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicklas Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Johnsson in the 63rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Olof Tinglöf during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan-Olof Tinglöf kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ulrik Vennerlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georg Pilgren was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. If Timmy Wiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Kurt Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicklas Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ronneby BK booed when Lindesberg IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Åke Larsfält didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicklas Henriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Ronneby BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
