The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Torsås FF's Thomas Pihlblad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Wallman in the 4th minute of play. When Merseyside Fc's Hjalmar Wallman, in the 6th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Merseyside Fc. In the 8th minute, Torsås FF's Gustaf Lundström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 12th minute, Torsås FF's Gustaf Lundström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arvid Linberg. Arvid Linberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Merseyside Fc's Arvid Linberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Merseyside Fc from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Torsås FF booed when Merseyside Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Alrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvid Linberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Arne Björling went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Hjalmar Wallman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Thomas Pihlblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merseyside Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Thomas Löv scored to the left of an out of position Arvid Linberg, making the score, 4-0. 29 minutes into the match, Sven-Arne Björling notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Merseyside Fc's Arvid Linberg. Arvid Linberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Torsås FF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Thomas Löv hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Merseyside Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Alrot to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Lundström in the 42nd minute of play forced Merseyside Fc's goalkeeper Arvid Linberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Torsås FF's goal looked a bit too open when Hjalmar Wallman came free, but Thomas Pihlblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Gustaf Lundström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Torsås FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Arvid Linberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Arne Björling in the 62nd minute of play. With his leg Thomas Pihlblad managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Merseyside Fc's Hjalmar Wallman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 64 minutes, Roy Eskilsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torsås FF and the Merseyside Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Torsås FF got a freekick which was hit by Roy Eskilsson. Arvid Linberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Merseyside Fc made a substitution. August Malmström replaced Michael Alrot. Arvid Linberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Oskar Finsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaf Lundström scored 9-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arvid Linberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Merseyside Fc made a substitution. Philip Lidström replaced Johannes Hermansson. Arvid Linberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Lundström in the 91st minute of play. Arvid Linberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arvid Linberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Lundström in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Torsås FF were the better team. Torsås FF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
