Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd match minute, Skövde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Böcklund to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Skövde's zone, Sivert Bergkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orvar Mogren came out of the goal and Sivert Bergkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, Wiktor Kullander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 8 minutes of play, Cafe Olivedal IFK's Sivert Bergkvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orvar Mogren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tom Askestät recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Askestät in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrik Öberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gert Soned fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Öberg having to interfere. Patrik Öberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Soned, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes Cafe Olivedal IFK got a freekick which was hit by Allan Törnqvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Soned in the 23rd minute of play forced Cafe Olivedal IFK's goalkeeper Patrik Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Öberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Soned, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sivert Bergkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cafe Olivedal IFK's Sivert Bergkvist in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skövde's goalie prevented a goal. Orvar Mogren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiktor Kullander's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Wiktor Kullander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orvar Mogren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sivert Bergkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Sivert Bergkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vidar Galle charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vidar Galle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, one of Skövde:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Skövde. The goalkeeper, Orvar Mogren, was totally fooled by Cafe Olivedal IFK's John Kaxe, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Orvar Mogren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sivert Bergkvist in the 68th minute. Sivert Bergkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orvar Mogren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sivert Bergkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Skövde's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wiktor Kullander 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. The supporters of Skövde booed when Cafe Olivedal IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Öfverman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pål Grelsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 89th match minute, Skövde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Skålberg to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Skövde's goalkeeper Orvar Mogren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sivert Bergkvist. In the 93rd minute, Wiktor Kullander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sivert Bergkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Orvar Mogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
