The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Norsholm IK got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Felin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Sandström in the 6th minute of play forced Norsholm IK's goalkeeper Edwin Heggert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes, Ulf Wästerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norsholm IK and the Fc Barcelona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulf Wästerberg hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Isak Sandström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fc Barcelona's Isak Sandström in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Edwin Heggert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isak Sandström in the 34th minute of the match. Sven-Åke Danielsson charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Åke Danielsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bror Eliasson during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bror Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Fc Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damon Staley to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isak Sandström to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Isak Sandström took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Edwin Heggert to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Norsholm IK booed when Fc Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Rojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damon Staley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Edwin Heggert made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Sven-Åke Danielsson notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Fc Barcelona's Joar Borre. Joar Borre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edwin Heggert made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Damon Staley sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Edwin Heggert managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Fc Barcelona's Damon Staley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Norsholm IK's Edwin Heggert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Sandström in the 89th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Fc Barcelona failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
