Staffan Nordgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mats Helberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mats Helberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Gunnarsson struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Gustav Falkrans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Öjebyn. Staffan Nordgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Bengtsson in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Birger Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mats Helberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gustav Falkrans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charlie Fransson charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charlie Fransson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Charlie Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mats Helberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Charlie Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Övertorneå FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlie Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tony Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Övertorneå FK fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Övertorneå FK's Erik Bengtsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Öjebyn defense, Charlie Fransson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Staffan Nordgren. The Öjebyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Staffan Nordgren should have stopped the shot. After having played for 83 minutes, Mats Helberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Öjebyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Helberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustav Falkrans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Helberg in the 86th minute of play. Övertorneå FK's Gustav Falkrans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Övertorneå FK from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd of the match, Mats Helberg tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gustav Falkrans got in the way and made a wonderful save. 94 minutes into the game, Tony Gunnarsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gustav Falkrans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
