Bernt Ånger helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Ånger. Frank Dahlgren hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Erik Olsman in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sivert Julin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 minutes of play, Liverpool FC's Sven-Erik Olsman made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sivert Julin was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Hjorted IFK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Inge Lindström hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Tomas Petersson put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sivert Julin. 35 minutes into the match, Hjorted IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Olsman came free, but Sivert Julin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's Sven-Erik Olsman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sivert Julin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Petersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sivert Julin having to make a save. Carl Lööf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Sven-Erik Olsman made the kick off in the second half. Liverpool FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Hjorted IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernt Åberg took the corner. The corner ended in Bernt Åberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hjorted IFK's Sivert Julin did a great save. 59 minutes into the match, Hjorted IFK's goalkeeper Sivert Julin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Lööf. Tomas Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Julin having to interfere. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Hjorted IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inge Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Erik Olsman in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sivert Julin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match was over Liverpool FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hjorted IFK throughout the match.
