Robin Asserlind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Asmundsson in the 31st minute of the match. Robin Asserlind made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Gunnar Gunnarsson sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Överturingen booed when Liverpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egil Asmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 played minutes Överturingen got a freekick which was hit by Karl Ahlbeck. With an all-out effort, Liverpool's Robin Asserlind threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stefan Boruta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The throw-in from Sigvard Tinglöv in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Överturingen's Dan Pettersson. Edgar Forsberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Överturingen made a substitution. Niclas Nilsson replaced Karl Ahlbeck.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Mouricio made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Överturingen got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Mouricio. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Niclas Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Överturingen's supporters rose to their feet, but Niclas Nilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Forsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Överturingen's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Gunnarsson came free, but Robin Asserlind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Egil Asmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Asserlind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Haroldo Mouricio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liverpool's Edgar Forsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Forsberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Liverpool's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
