Mellerud's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Erik Jansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Teckomatorp's goal looked a bit too open when Zebastian Kjellberg came free, but Alexander Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Ekgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Alexander Westerstrand made a huge save.

Karl-Erik Jansson struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Allan Morat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teckomatorp. Zebastian Kjellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Westerstrand having to interfere. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Teckomatorp would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
