Mark Nyqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Beckström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Caspersson scored 3-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pelle Pil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Jan-Ove Beckström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Ove Beckström to strike the kick off in the second half. Pelle Pil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Dahlquist in the 53rd minute of play.
