Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tommy Vallander started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tomas Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Ödman in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Harry Gabrielsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Ove Västerstrand skillfully saved the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Jens-Erik Berg put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Näsviken fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Knut Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Vallander took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Ove Västerstrand. Jens-Ove Västerstrand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Leksand RK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Knut Jonsson hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Tommy Vallander put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jens-Ove Västerstrand. After having played for 37 minutes, Bernt Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Näsviken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Jonsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leksand RK's Johnny Nykvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hjalmar Molin in the 40 minute of the game. Tommy Vallander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Västerstrand having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Vallander in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ove Västerstrand saved Näsviken from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

After a defensive mix-up in Leksand RK's zone, Bernt Jonsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Nyberg came out of the goal and Bernt Jonsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Nyberg came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Näsviken's Bernt Jonsson. But to his dismay, Bernt Jonsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 60th minute, Tommy Vallander fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jens-Ove Västerstrand, passed just outside the right post. Näsviken's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Knut Jonsson scored to the left of an out of position Jens-Ove Västerstrand, making the score, 2-4. Jens-Ove Västerstrand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tommy Vallander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 70 minute of play. 76 minutes in the game, Bernt Jonsson dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Vallander in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ove Västerstrand saved Näsviken from getting behind. Lars-Erik Smefeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leksand RK's Tommy Vallander in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Näsviken's goalie prevented a goal. Näsviken's Jens-Ove Västerstrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Näsviken from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Jonsson in the 83rd minute of play forced Leksand RK's goalkeeper Tomas Nyberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Vallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute, Jarl Lidberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leksand RK's Lars-Erik Smefeldt took a good shot, in the 92nd minute, which hit the crossbar above Jens-Ove Västerstrand's head, and flew over the goal. Näsviken's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Leksand RK. Näsviken's Jens-Ove Västerstrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Näsviken from getting a goal against them. Leksand RK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
