Tord Pil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Njurunda RK defense, Dumitru Ganea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tord Pil. The Njurunda RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tord Pil should have stopped the shot. Olov Hasselqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Nordkvist hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Carmine Furia hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Tord Pil came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by MJÄLLBY STARS's Dumitru Ganea. But to his dismay, Dumitru Ganea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Tord Pil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Ganea in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of MJÄLLBY STARS booed when Njurunda RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Ambjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tord Pil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Ganea, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

51 minutes into the match, Njurunda RK's goalkeeper Tord Pil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dumitru Ganea. Tord Pil made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Dumitru Ganea sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, MJÄLLBY STARS's Rogerio Cavadas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Tord Pil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Ganea in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Njurunda RK's goalkeeper Tord Pil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogerio Cavadas. A collision led to Njurunda RK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Klint hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Rogerio Cavadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Pil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MJÄLLBY STARS's attentive Rogerio Cavadas managed to snatch the ball when Samuel Hedlund made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Karl-Ove Skålberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urban Ambjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Håkansson in the 81st minute of play forced MJÄLLBY STARS's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Skålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as MJÄLLBY STARS's Victor Giggs slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tord Pil. That made the score 0-5 after 85 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, MJÄLLBY STARS's Carmine Furia got a free kick in the 90th minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Victor Giggs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MJÄLLBY STARS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Giggs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded MJÄLLBY STARS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Njurunda RK.
