Henrik Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kaj Felin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Österlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute, Kenny Lundhberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vegby BF's Erik Mattsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Vegby BF from getting a goal against them. Kaj Felin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39thth minute of the game Ian Larsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Köpmannebro's Kaj Felin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Larsson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Larsson in the 52nd minute of play forced Köpmannebro's goalkeeper Kaj Felin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Henrik Danielsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Köpmannebro's Kaj Felin. If Ian Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Mats Linqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Österlund in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Mattsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aaron Österlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Mattsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Österlund ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ian Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vegby BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Larsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaj Felin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aaron Österlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Mattsson having to interfere. Erik Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Österlund in the 95th minute of play. Vegby BF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Köpmannebro to leave the ground with a draw.
