After some careless play in the Tigers defense, Ari Ueding kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Lindqvist. The Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Lindqvist should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Ari Ueding had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Allan Lindqvist. Tigers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ari Ueding was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

A collision led to Tigers getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Hubert Ersman hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Härnösand's Ari Ueding nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Allan Lindqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Lars Klementsson kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Roger Bållström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Klementsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Uno Vestlund hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Benett came free, but Allan Lindqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lars Klementsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Lindqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Benett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ari Ueding in the 95th minute of play. Härnösand's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
